Join the Ottawa Urban Sketchers on Saturday June 22nd at the Summer Solstice Indigenous Festival
Since 1996, June 21st has been recognized as National Aboriginal Day and events showcasing the culture and contributions of First Nations, Métis and Inuit peoples have returned to the National Capital Region each year for the Summer Solstice Indigenous Festival.

One Venue is at Vincent Massey Park offers wooded walking paths, rolling meadows, scenic
vistas and open grassy areas. The Rideau River flows by on the western
edge of the park, next to the Rideau River Eastern Parkway, a lovely
bike path. The park is located on Riverside Drive and Heron Road in
Ottawa.
The SSIF organizing committee welcomes the Ottawa Urban Sketchers to join them on
Saturday June 22, 2019.

We will sketch from 9 am to 4 pm. Come for the whole day or just a few hours.

We will have two check-ins through the day: one at noon and
the final check-in at 4 pm near the Info and Media tent.
